Eid war for Akshay's Once upon a time and Shahrukh's Chennai Express: Ekta Kapoor retorted UTV Motion Pic

The war between Akshay starrer film “Once Upon A Time …….” and Shahrukh starrer film “Chennai Express” reached in 2nd round. Now it is turn of Ekta Kapoor, owner of Balaji Tele Films. She followed same track and offered bundled of 5 films with “Once Upon a Time” ….. Including Ek Thi Daayan, Lootera, Shoot Out at Wadala, Ragini MMS and Shadi Ke Side Effects to distributors. She retorted UTV Motion Picture in same language.

As it was mentioned in our earlier post that UTV Motion Picture has trying to clubbing Himmatwala with “Chennai Express”; and they offered distributors that if wants to buy Himmatwala, reserve all four shows and same screen for “Chennai Express” on Eid.

Himmatwala is a single screen dominated film and Once Upon a time too is single screens dominated film. Whenever Chennai Express is multiplex dominated film so, it is clearly an attempt to disturb UOAT.

It is heard that officials of Balaji Tele Films had called up their exhibitors and described the situation. They made it clear in very clear words that they do not have any intention to disturb others but everyone should get a fair chance.  They also told that such practice is unhealthy.
