Akshay Kumar’s
upcoming film “Boss” will now, release on 18th October, 2013. The date is confirmed by Akshay Kumar and production
house Cape of Good fims, Ashwin Varde production and Viacome 18.
Earlier, this film
was to release on 1st June but due to some problem it was postponed. The film
is directed by Antony D’Suza and it is remake of Tamil film. It will be
released exactly 70 day after “Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Again” Which is going
to release on 8th August, 2013.
Akshay Kumar twitted
on Twitter, “Returning to my home turf, solid, never seen before ACTION after
Rowdy Rathore, like a boss with BOSS, in theatres on October 18, 2013!”
Akshay first film of
2013 is “Special Chabbis” which was released on 8th February and still running
in theatre successfully. His second film “Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Again” will
be release on 8th August, 2013 on the eve of Eid festival, a week ago
Independence day. Third film is “Boss” on 18th October and fourth film is “Thuppikki”
remake directed by A R Murgadosh who had directed “Ghazni” first Indian film
which cross 100 crores benchmark on home box office. That means Akshay has four films in this
year. One film in first half of year and three in second half.
